Notes & Combos

Due to already being on 45 pre-Bystials i figured i'd just give a full on 60 card version a shot as with their inclusion alone you are already at 50 anyway. While i definitely don't think this is the optimal way to play this deck it made for some incredibly entertaining games so i'd say this experiment was a success. Also with this potentially being my last Branded CyDra list i get to share i wanted it to be as funky as humanly possible :^)

For a quick rundown on what's new in here:

• Bystials: Pretty much the main reason this deck is playable again. Obviously Tear is still always a uphill battle but the versatiliy of interrupting your opponent as well as extending your own plays helps tremendously.
• Frightfur Package: Honestly felt even better to run in 60 than it did in 45, the advantage you tend to gain from it is really crazy with less chance to draw multiple dead copies so it just makes sense.
• Tragedy/Ad Lib: While you don't really wanna draw these the access they give you to a more standard Branded line came up a bunch in more drawn out games.
• Banishment: Had a few games vs. Branded were i really needed it over BiR, very bad if you draw it but in 60 it seemed ok.
• Shufflers: My idea was that if Tear goes in with their mills i have a chance to get interruptions of it + recycling your PB line should it get milled seemed like a good thing to be able to do. Add to that the large amount of spells that require discards running 2 soft-bricks didn't seem like the worst. In practice i probably lost more games due to them being dead draws than i won because they were actually useful, but they still had some clutch moments so i didn't bother switching them out.
• Crossout + 1 Ash & 1 Belle: Running both at 1 for Crossout, probably can replace the 2 shufflers for 2 of either handtrap.
• Cosmic Cyclone (replacing LS) & HFD: Don't really wanna give Tear more advantage by destroying their backrow + most Runick variants i ran into weren't on floodgate turbo lists so Cosmic performed very well. Still on one HFD just because sometimes it blows out some random backrow focused Rogue deck.
• Garura: "I used to pray for times like this" 🙏😤👌

On a side node, tried Rindbrumm for a bit but it doesn't seem worth it. Fortress now is probably the slot you'd have to replace if you wanna run something like it or Quaeritis, but imo Fortress is still worth it over any other option available atm.
