Notes & Combos
Fairly consistent build of my current Branded Darklord deck, that can handle going first and building a strong board or going second and breaking boards (the deck still struggles against boards set up with 3+ negates even with the best hands tho).
You can adapt this build to your liking, making use of cards like Mercourier, Kitt and Rind. I also tried playing around with a build making more use of the bystials, and while at times they were great (and in some cases game saving), the deck took a pretty big hit in consistency.
I'm not a fan of branded expulsion locking my opponent which is why I'm not making use of the card, but as a plan b (and honestly sometimes my plan a) you can use The First Darklord's effect to special summon Kristya, making it immune to targeting removal. It's usually best to send Kristya to the grave with Branded Fusion to make Albion, only if you can see the line to make The First Darklord the same turn (if you don't think you can make The First Darklord with your starting hand, then it would be better to send Bystial Lubellion to the grave instead with Branded Fusion, then use it's effect to special summon it from the grave by tributing Albion, which will trigger Albion's end phase effect).
If you want a more Darklord focused build, you can make use of options like Darklord Rebellion, The Sanctified Darklord, Condemed Darklord, etc. You could even make use of Darklord Morningstar's effect to swarm the field with a number of Darklord from the deck, then fuse it to make use of The First Darklord's nuke effect.
