Notes & Combos

This is a pretty common Labrynth floodgate build. I focus only on going first, that's why there are only 4 copies of going second cards in here (2 Shifter, 2 Evenly).

I won most of the games going first. Floodgates are just really strong this format. Shifter, Skill Drain and Soul Drain are devastating for Tearlaments. Gozen Match and Rivalry sometimes helped me recover my position after I got evenly'd or Zeus'd by locking them into one monster such as Zeus itself.

Going second, I honestly just hoped that I drew my Shifter and Evenly or the opponents bricked. Occasionally, I could steal a few games going second without them by winning the grind games from Turn 3 onwards thanks to the floodgates that I played.

Extra deck is mostly just Punishment target and a bunch of easily summoned monsters. N'tss is the only relevant one there as Punishment target although Dharc came into play one time to set me free from Iblee lock in which case you can also use Cerberus or Phoenix.
