Notes & Combos
I wanted to climb with Ishizu Labrynth ever since there were people speculating about the Ishizu cards' release. I wanted to do so without Lord of the Heavenly Prison, continuous floodgate traps and Solemn Strike to prove the others that you can do so, and here we are. With future support and a meta that suits it, Ishizu Lab will even be the better list in comparison.
The idea with Ishizu Labrynth is to use the furnitures to discard the Ishizus (Mudora and Keldo) and be able to have GY interrupts. They can discard as cost at Quick Effect Speed, so you can respond to their Lubellion Fusion, Elf Reborn, or Runick Fountain shuffle targets by shuffling away their targets.
Maxx C is there to be able to help this as well as discouraging combo decks from playing going first. It can also bait out their Ash so that your Pot of Extravagance or Welcome Labrynth can go through.
Sphere Mode is anti-Spright and combo decks.
The Extra Deck isn't that required. With all the amount of furnitures you get on field, I would say having more Knightmares instead of the Zeus package or Exciton (which I never made) could be more useful. For everything else, you can look at the Labrynth guide on MDM for more details.
Overall, this was a really tough climb and I would not recommend it. This is a really tough deck that requires a lot of decisions on resource management and what to use your Normal Traps on and what to save for. The more floodgate-heavy deck lists here on MDM will probably suit those that want to take it more relaxed and is honestly probably better, but if you want a fun deck that is also fairly strong, I can recommend this one.
FINAL TIP: READ LOVELY VERY CAREFULLY. It will save you a ton of games. You can test their knowledge by using Welcome first to summon Lovely. If they don't negate it, your Normal Traps are now unable to be negated by monsters.

Honestly not much sprights because the spright games were either sphere mode grind them out, board is dead because their board is too good, or you just murder their normal summon and win.
My opponents and I had some misplays (bonus points if you can spot them), but these were my last few games in Diamond and will show you some of the power of Labrynth.
