Notes & Combos
Off the bat, I'm going to say that I don't really care for this variant with Scythe simply because everyone knows of the Halqi+Dagda combo and will pre-emptively droplet halqi at times, or CBTG/droplet/imperm scythe. And depending on what happens, you won't be able to reliably get out Baronne as your second omni. However, you will usually get either baronne or scythe to resolve, so that's not a bad thing! Against Eldlich or other decks that don't really care for the ED though, it's just a weaker path into an omni. This might be a better strategy when Adventure Tokens come out but we'll see!
I thought I would try the small change in the extra deck as I have been wanting to try something a little more degenerate this season (I totally didn't snap after having to break through a scythe or buster lock a few times lmao). There are times that dagda+halqi will win you games even under Maxx C if your opponent doesn't draw an out, so it is a decent alternative when you have combo in your hand but feel obligated to pass when you don't have an answer to the C. If Curious mills scythe, it's also a minor inconvenience to have to shuffle it back with resort because your opponent can negate dagda on their turn, but Resort shuffle end of turn is hardly "cost" so go for it if you want to try it!
