Made it to D1 playing Drytron for the first time! Mathmech & Runick made this climb extremely difficult, all you see in diamond. With that being said: -I switched from the ultimateness build around D3. From my experience, the ultimateness build gets too easily outted with 1 or two hand traps. The perfection build plays much better around handtraps. -If you get maxx c'd with no out, go into Vanitys Ruler. Use it being searchable in this deck to your advantage -I only lost once after establishing my turn 1 board this whole climb, a complete Drytron board is extremely powerful! With mathmech being the dominate deck this format, it made it extremely hard to fully set up turn 1 consistently due to all the handtraps they run, always have a plan B -Turn 2, if you cant otk via natasha into borrelsword/accesscode, try to wipe the field with zeus to simplify the game state. Natasha/nightangale are the MVP's for this climb! Cant say this enough
