the 2 most impactful handtrap. droll and d shifter. howeverd shifter is very bricky. caution on d shifter. many deck play under shifter better than guru like floo and exosister. turn one unless you have to dont use it going first. d shifter is trully useful only when 1 you are going second, 2 you are against tear, 3 you opened it in your hand 4 opponent dont have herald.

droll and lock completely stops floo turn. turn off some of tear searches, exosister searches, and any deck that relies on search and draw.

Going first is preferable. if you dont get ashed imperm you are against tear. if you see handtrap you are against other deck. you hard lose to diffisure + evenly match and double evenly matched if you dont have imperial iron wall.

Hardest matchup is exosister. going second its hard to play through returnia, magnifica, mikailis which banishes 4 card on your turn.

Tear there is a reason why its tear 0. your win condition is shutting down the grave and have a bigger body than your opponent. Key cards. necrovalley, soul drain, shadow imprisoning mirror, gozen, dimensional barrier.

besides that you have to find a way to preventing your oppoent from getting rid of your flood gates. or interrupt you from setting it up.

heart beat, shuffler + field spell, guardian chimera, cryme, kaleido heart, zeus plays ie babooska, even worse robin take trap, zoodiac pop then zeus, some play unicorn also.

dont listen to people on how they shut down tear, its just not consistent enough with all the way they can out it. the best you can do is hope you have the correct answer for their plays like solemn their zeus, final battle guru flip. in general guru and archer are big enough to stall if you get rid of the field spell and abyss dweller.

Floo I added droll and lock for this deck. you need to find a wy to get rid of unexplored wind( cosmic cyclone, punishment, fiendess negate, solemn judgement. i have a replay showing how an opponent floo can get rid of floodgates with it. Set tribute, iron wall soul drain tcboo.
