Diamond I from on April 17th, 2023
cp-ur 450 + cp-sr 810
41 cards

Notes & Combos

  • An extra copy of Toccan is used as Jack-In-The-Hand fodder
  • Only 2 copies of DD crow are needed;
    • Your searchable "NO" response to Tear names attempting to fuse (they will usually blow a shuffler just to not lose it for good).
    • 3 is too bricky
    • Dimension Fissure / Necrovalley / Shifter will all disable crow
  • 3x Evenly Matched for board breaking
  • 3x Dimension Fissure to booli Tears.
  • 1x Necrovalley to booli Tears more.
    • Prevents Terraforming from being a quick brick.
    • Keep in mind this turns off DD Crow, Mega Raiza, Stri, and Dreaming Town's GY effect.
  • Extra Deck is Pot fodder for 999/1000 games.

-----------

Did the Limit on Magnificent Map hurt? Uh yea? On top of making your openings much more inconsistent (keeping in mind we're running even more floodgates this season to deal with the Tearlaments cancer and the monkeys piloting them), if your opponent pops your only copy it is ridiculously tedious (if not outright difficult, as Stri will usually NOT resolve with the Ishizus in play) to recycle it.

Stri is a dead card upwards of 80% of the time in a Tearlaments matchup: the Ishizu shufflers will be chained if your opponent isn't completely pepega, losing you the subsequent Normal Summon. Its role has essentially been reduced to chain-blocking fodder.

-----------

This list is significantly more susceptible to dying against the previous meta decks (e.g. swosos) if you lose the coin toss: that is a tradeoff I have been more than willing to make. The most common matchups on the ladder are Ishizu/Tearlaments (or some variant thereof), Floowandereeze Mirrors, and Exosisters.
