Does Kairyu-Shin work with Phantasm Spiral? Kinda.

Tribute summon Kairyu-Shin over Unexpected Dai, or use Foolish Burial Goods -> Ice Barrier -> Icejade Tremora to Special Summon it from your hand. Then, use Kairyu-Shin's effect to search Pacifis or Sea Stealth Attack.

After your opponent removes Kairyu-Shin, or you decide to banish it with Sea Stealth Attack (for example, against Marincess), start using your Phantasm Spiral traps like usual to interrupt your opponent.

Hints:

• Foolish Burial Goods can send Pacifis to GY, which can be activated from the GY with Sea Stealth Attack.
• If going first, don't summon the token until the opponent commits cards to the field. Otherwise, if they activate Evenly Matched, you will have to banish everything except for the token (because tokens cannot be banished face-down).
• You can't tribute summon Kairyu-Shin over the Fish Sonar normal monster or Pacifis token the turn they are summoned because the mandatory effect of Pacifis locks you to normal monsters.
• Use Unexpected Dai before activating Pacifis if you want to summon Kairyu-Shin, and after activating Pacifis if you want to search a Phantasm Spiral trap.
