Notes & Combos

Okay so first of all, this is likely NOT the best way to play Swordsoul I just really wanted to show off something I made that I personally think is pretty interesting and alot better then people were giving credit.

The power of the Runick cards is fairly easy to see, all the cards are good going first and second aswell as letting you dig for key pieces in you're deck. They also enable an alternate win condition in certain match ups.

Swordsoul offers some unique tools to the archetype and has some cute synergies which I will go over. Namely powerful synchro bosses, Chengying & Baronne. These bosses are obviously very strong Chengying especially is good in this deck as whenever you activate a Runick effect and banish the top card of the opponents deck you will non-targeting banish 1 card from you're opponents field and gy, which also matches up nicely vs other Runick decks (worth mentioning Swordsoul isn't the only deck that lets runick access these synchros). Another synergy of the deck is that the Swordsoul engine inherently has draw in engine and with the combo of Mo Yo + any runick you can go into to Coral Dragon and then into a level 10 synchro allowing you to draw 2 cards which lets you draw into you're Runick. Ecclessia is also very powerful grind tool in this deck as during the end phase of most turns you are able to add it back to hand. Finally the last and most powerful tool is Protos.
