Konami have announced the first details for the Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championships 2024, being held in multiple stages culminating in the Grand Finals on September 7th - 8th in Seattle

The Stages include:

  • WCS Qualifiers 2024 (In-game event, Individual Placing)
  • WCS Finals (Team Battle in Groups of 3)

WCS 2024 Qualifiers

The WCS 2024 Qualifiers is an in-game Event that anyone can participate in, and works in the same way as the Duelist Cup - separated into STAGE 1 and STAGE 2 of the Event!

Key Dates:
  • 1st Stage (June 10th - June 23rd)
  • Regional Qualifiers / Stage 2 (June 20th - June 23rd)
  • Rankings Announced (~July 4th)

The Top Ranked Player in each region at the end of the Regional Qualifiers round will be eligible to participate in the WCS 2024 Finals. The number of finalists will vary per region.


WCS 2024 Finals

The WCS 2024 Finals will be held in Seattle as an offline event on September 7th and Sptember 8th.

"Yu-Gi-Oh! MASTER DUEL" WCS 2024 Finals will be a Team Battle with Duelists competing in groups of three players. Those who are selected as Regional Representatives will be asked to select two Duelists from the same region to team up with them and apply to participate in the Finals.

Important Info:
  • Only the DLv. MAX players who participated in the same region as the Regional Representative in the Regional Qualifiers of the WCS 2024 Qualifiers may be selected to join the team.
  • Regional Representatives cannot team up with each other.
  • You can only participate in one of the Master Duel, Duel Links or TCG Finals, if you are selected as a WCS Regional Representative.
