Introduction
The "Traptrix" are mysterious creatures that live deep in the southern forests and pray on organisms that wander too close. Since their existence was discovered, researchers have been fascinated by their unique methods of capturing prey.
From the TCG Structure Deck: Beware of Traptrix Dueling Guide
Your main goal is putting Loading... on the field, then lure your opponent into committing resources, punishing them for wandering on the field with your many traps and finally, finishing the duel with the extra resources Loading... accumulated.
If you want to build this deck, you will want to open the Secret Pack Mother Nature's Snare, to unlock it you can craft any UR or SR of the Traptrix archetype. I would recommend getting either Loading... (SR) or Loading... (UR) because you need a playset of those cards.
While Traptrix is a versatile archetype that can adopt various playstyles, it is generally played as a control deck, meaning resource management is key. The best way to achieve this is to also understand your opponent's deck so you can interrupt them efficiently. Also, since this archetype is based on trap cards, it is quite slow to get going with. However, do not fear as there are multiple variants that are easier than others making the deck playable for almost anyone.
In Master Duel, Traptrix is fairly resilient to Hand Traps and various non-engine cards/staples other decks tend to use. Thanks to this, Traptrix has remained quite playable for a long time.
The core of the deck is small, so it is very easy to use other engines with Traptrix! There isn't just one correct way to play the deck, so don’t be afraid to try out new ideas that may not be listed in this guide!

Core Cards
Before explaining the cards, we will give you a list of the core cards to use when playing Traptrix. If you want to play Traptrix, this is the standard package to make the deck work. It is possible to run less or add more to it, but this is a fairly standard core.
Main Deck Traptrix
The main deck monster Traptrix are all unaffected by "Hole" traps which makes the mirror match "interesting" to say the least. Most of your monsters have an effect on Normal and Special Summon.
