About the Author

Hey there fellow duelists. I am Yamiferanmi or you can just call me Yami. I am excited to bring you the guide of one of my favourite Decks. I have been playing Raidraptors for over 1 year in a TCG format.

Overview

The Raidraptor archetype consists of Dark Winged-beast monsters that were used by Shun Kurosaki from Yu-Gi-Oh ARC-V Anime. It is a Deck that relies on Xyz Summoning. It mostly uses Rank 4 Xyz Monsters, but also gains access to higher Ranked Xyz Monsters using Rank-Up-Magic cards. The deck can be built by going through both Invulnerable Iron Wings and Indomitable Knights Secret Packs.

This deck specializes in Xyz Summoning multiple times with just 1-2 cards in hand. The endboards that this deck makes are nearly unbeatable due to its boss monsters. After reading this guide, you will know the true potential of the Raidraptor archetype.

Core Monsters in Main Deck

Raidraptor - Tribute Lanius

It is basically a Loading... for the archetype. It sends any Raidraptor card from your Deck to your graveyard. A Monster that would be sent by this effect, most of the time, is Loading... , due to its effect to banish itself from the graveyard to search any Raidraptor card.

Raidraptor - Mimicry Lanius

If this card was sent to the graveyard on the current turn, you can search any Raidraptor card from your Deck. It can be easily sent to the graveyard using Loading... .

Raidraptor - Strangle Lanius

It is an extender. It Special Summons itself if you control a Dark Monster which isn't a hard requirement since all of the Monsters in our Main Deck are Dark Monsters. It also special summons a Raidraptor from your graveyard as long as you control an Xyz monster that has an Xyz monster attached to it. Xyz Monsters that are used by the Rank-Up-Magic Spells get attached as material to the Xyz monster Summoned by the Rank-Up-Magic cards.
