The Enneacrafts are based on the nine personality types described by the Enneagram of Personality, which outlines various features (e.g. vices and virtues) by which personality types are interconnected. The personalities are placed as points around a circle and then connected with lines, creating a pointed geometric shape called an enneagram.

Similarly, the Enneacrafts themselves are interconnected and the number 9 is emphasized. For example, Loading... references the second (Greek defteros) personality type called the "helper", associated with the vice of pride or arrogance (Greek alazonia). Loading... shows alazoneIA transforming into Loading... , named as an anagram of "alazoneIA" and featuring a lion representing pride.

Finally, a glowing enneagram appears above each monster.

The win condition is to inflict effect damage after accruing 9 E.C. Counters when the Enneacrafts flip themselves face-up in response to your opponent's effects.

General Strategy

Enneacraft is a true control deck that does not center around any 1-card combo on turn 1 or try to OTK on turn 2, but rather it plays low to the ground and extends the duel to turn 4 and beyond. The win condition is to control the duel with the Enneacraft monster effects, and to inflict effect damage with Loading... by flipping Enneacrafts face-up and accumulating E.C. Counters. The effects of Loading... and Loading... also contribute effect damage.

The Enneacrafts can certainly inflict battle damage and this does come up, but it should never be at the expense of maintaining your control effects unless it is guaranteed to win you the duel.
