The Warriors

Argostars - Glorious Adra

The best starter in the deck, Adra allows you to set 2 Argostars Continuous Traps with different names from your deck.

She also on Normal Summon has an effect that always activate that the opponent cannot activate cards or effects in response to the activation of your Continuous Traps which is useful when you do Normal Summon her.

Also she has a third effect that only can be activated during your opponent's turn and controlling a Continuous Traps that you can banish her from hand to make the ATK of 1 monster on the field 0 Until the end of this turn this effect can be activated even during the start of the damage step which this effect can save you from big accesscode talker or any other monsters that cannot be targeted.

Loading...

Argostars - Fierce Parthe

The last Main Deck monster Parthe, She is alright gains 700 ATK/DEF for each Argostars monster with different name that you control "except" this card.

Her first effect which is to reveal this card from hand; then return 1 "Argostar Continuous Trap you control to hand, and if you do, special summon this card, you can return the trap even if it on the field.

Her second effect is you can banish this card you control to set 1 Continuous Trap from your hand, which can be activated this turn and you can set any Continuous Traps not just Argostars traps.

The Spell Cards

Loading...

Argostars - Home Stadium

The Field Spell is very good in Argostars since it can once per turn (soft once per turn) you can pay 1000 LP; add 1 Argostars card from your GY or Banishment.

And each time you special summon a Continuous Trap from the spell and trap zone to your field, inflict 500 damage to your opponent.

And lastly The other good, effect Once per chain, if your Continuous Trap (any Continuous Trap monster not just Argostars) activates its effect in the Monster Zone while while you have a banished Argostars monster (except during the damage step): You can target 1 face-up card your opponent controls; negate its effects until the end of the turns.

Argostars - Giantslaying

Giantslaying allows us to add 1 Argostars monster from deck to our hand and if we control a face-up Continuous Trap it allows us to immediately after the effect resloves to normal summon 1 warrior monster (again any warrior monster not just Argostars monster)

And it's second effect is that durning our main phase: we can banish this card from GY, then target 2 cards on the field including 1 Argostars Continuous Trap back to hand.

but sadly you can't activate both at the same turn since it's only once per turn and ONLY that turn.

The Traps

Argostars - Lightning Tydeu

A very important piece of the combo since she has the effect while face-up in the spell and trap zone, warrior monsters you control gains 500 ATK/DEF this include warrior link monsters like Loading...

But that effect isn't the important one, this IS the important one, she allows us to discard 1 card from our hand to Special Summon herself as an effect monster (Warrior/Light/Level 4/ATK 2000/DEF 2000), then you can add 1 Argostars card from your deck to hand, execpt Argostars - Lightning Tydeu.

also while you control this card face-up on the monster zone you can place this card face-up in your spell and trap zone which all 3 Argostars traps share the same effect (returning from monster zone to spell and trap zones not the first 2 effect).

Loading...

Argostars - Slayer Eteo

Green girl she has this effect that while this trap is face-up on the spell and trap zone warrior monsters you control cannot be destroyed by cards effects this include warrior link monsters like Loading... .

The second effect is the best one Once per turn, when your opponent activates a cards or effect: you can special summon this card as an effect monster (Warrior/Light/Level 4/Atk 800/DEF 800) this cards is also still a trap, then, IF you have any banished Argostars monster(s), you can return 1 card on the field to hand, which is a non target bounce.

Once per turn while you control this card face-up on the monster zone you can place this card face-up in your spell and trap zone.

Loading...

Argostars - Swift Capane

Pink girl she has this effect while this trap is face-up on the spell and trap zone warrior monsters you control cannot be destroyed by battle this include warrior link monsters like Loading... .

Once per tun, if you control a Continuous Trap in the monster zone: you can special summon this card as an effect monster (Warrior/Light/Level 4/ATK 2000/DEF 2000), then if you have a banished Argostars monster, you gain 500LP which the effect isn't that good.

Once per turn while you control this card face-up on the monster zone you can place this card face-up in your spell and trap zone.

Loading...

Apophis the Swamp Deity

one of Argostars used traps because he is pretty good and we can search set it using other cards like Loading... .

During the main phase: Special summon this as a normal monster (reptile/earth/level 6/ARK 2000/DEF 2200) (this is also still a trap), then you can negate the effects of face-up cards your opponent controls, up to the number of other Continuous Traps you control, until the end of this turn.

Argostars - Adventurous Arion

Arion one of ed monsters that is mostly used in Argostars and any other variant for it's effects.

First effect is when you xyz summon this card you can add 1 Argostars spell card from your deck to your hand which mostly is Giant slaying if you don't have Adra or field spell if you already summoned Adra and used her effect.

Second effect is you can detach 2 from this monster to set 3 Argostars Continuous Traps from your GY face-up in your spell&trap zone, so if you have 2 traps in the xyz and 1 in gy you can detach the 2 traps to set 3 argostars traps (only argostars traps not other traps).

Also you can summon this using only 1 Argostars monster on the field that includes Argostars Continuous Traps.

Loading...

Silhouhatte Rabbit

Rabbito is very good in Argostars since it allows you to set 1 Continuous Trap from your deck which is mostly Loading... since you will be summoning it when you are done and you don't have to worry if the opponent attacks it.

It's second effect that when you special summon Continuous Trap from your spell&traps zone you can target 1 spell or trap that the opponent controls destroy it.

That's 10?!

That's 10!

That's 10 is very good in Argostars since everytime you activate a card effect you place 1 counter (each counter increases your monsters attack by 100) and at the 10 counter you can return this card from spell&trap zone back to your hand to set 1 Continuous Trap from your deck and you can activate it this turn and you can set Loading... but you still need to activate 10 effects this turn to activate you're finished (5 from field and 5 from that's 10 if you had 5 on it already).

Greensmith (Fiendsmith)

Fiendsmith engine still very good even with Argostars since it allows Argos to go Fiendsmith and get Desirae on the field to protect the traps from Loading... and Loading... anad Loading... and you can use Loading... to discard Loading... to get 1 Argostar card while going into fiendsmith and making rabbit. And you can go from Fiendsmith to Argostars using Lacrima and Chorozo to overlay into Loading... to add giant slaying but into that later.

Dominus

Dominus traps are very good since you will be rarely using handtraps in pure and odion variant and sometimes you won't need the xyz.

Odion

The Man with the Mark
Anubis the Last Judge
Merciless Scorpion of Serket
Treasures of the Kings
Temple of the Kings
Apophis the Serpent
Apophis the Swamp Deity
Verdict of Anubis
Divine Serpent Apophis

The Odion engine gives you a new way to make and start plays. It is something you have to draw, but if you draw any of the good cards (Man with the Mark, Treasures of the Kings or Anubis), you can do the Odion combo and bridge into Argostars, making a better board than usual. If you draw Treasures and Adra, you can try bait with Treasures and Serket/Anubis first and then NS Adra if they handtrap you. If you draw multiple Odion cards, you can search Verdict with Man, which is a super strong trap. Small confliction is when you draw both Man and Adra, now you have to choose between one and the other. The Man combo is stronger but dies more to handtraps like Nibiru, Ash Blossom or Droll. Adra combo on the other hand is weaker but you can make a halfboard through those handtraps, so choose depending on the rest of your hand. Also the Odion cards work well with Dominus and Dimensional Shifter like Argostars. In conclusion, its a strong engine which can bridge into Argostars, but also can do alot on its own, however, you have to draw into it. Argostars has no way of bridging into Odion. cutting 1 Man is an option cus of the ns confliction.

Radiant Typhoon Vision
Radiant Typhoon Ascendance
Radiant Typhoon Mandate
Mystical Space Typhoon

Radiant Typhoon is another Rank 3 engine we can utilize. It's one of the strongest engines we can use, but also requires the biggest commitment. This is because every Level 3 RT can summon themself for free, but only if your opponent controls no spell/traps or you have MST in the graveyard. Therefore going second it's important you get access to a MST, otherwise you wont be able to use most of the RTs. That's why we play a large amount of Radiant Typhoon cards so that we can have a high chance of seeing multiple and getting access to MST quickly. Also in this version we don't play a Continous Trap for Silhouhatte Rabbit because the S/T zone typically gets too clogged to fit one in a usual combo. Instead we go for a I:P into S:P play. Lastly keep in mind that Krosea locks you into only special summoning Winds for the rest of the turn, so summon your Argostars monsters first, but you can still use Giantslaying, since it normal summons and doesn't special summon.
