Notes & Combos

• The Chimera Deck. As usual it's a solid rogue deck that's good against "Maxx C" giving only 1-2 draws depending on how deep you want to combo.It's also good going second against "Maxx C" as it can easily perform lethal with "Chimera The Illusion Beast" should your opponent have an attack position monster.

• Good Against Boardbreakers. Despite the Deck being vulnerable to "Ash Blossom & Joyous Spring". The deck makes up for it by being able to easily play through board breaking cards like Evenly Matched, Super Poly, Nibiru, etc.

• Matchups. It has pretty good matchups across the board with the only tough one being Branded Despia & Macro Cosmos Floodgates from my experience. With Snake-Eye being the easiest matchup in ranked matchmaking. It also has lots of ways to get around targetting effects giving it good matchup against Rescue Ace.

• Tearlaments Scheiren. As you can see I replaced the Kashtira Package as she helps me more with the overall consistency of the chimera gameplan. Provides an Extra Body to setup Muckracker or Guardian Chimera, Discards Edge Imp Chain for Fusion Spell Access, Opens Mudragon and Dragostapelia Lines. Though I don't recommend crafting it as Horus cards serve the same purpose but better.

• Non-Engine. Superpoly Cracks most boards open, doubles as interruption going first, works as engine for dodging targeting negates.Infinite Impermanence works as both a handtrap and helps crack boards going second so I chose it over Effect Veiler. Psy-Frame Gear Gamma just has a natural synergy with the deck as most of your opening plays involve having no monster on the field but strong enough that it can warrant an interaction like "Maxx C on Polymerization or Chimera fusion" or "Ash Blossom on Mirror Sword Knight".

• Extra Deck. Only Muckracker is the important link since it lets you revive berfomet and as bonus protects any monster from battle & effect destruction once. Starving Venom to beat over problematic monsters and gives me an alternative to Garura incase i need it for something else but feel free to replace it if you need to.
